Ajahn Maha Bua Ñāṇasampaṇṇo (1913–2011), affectionately known as Luangta, was one of the most famous teachers of the Thai Forest Tradition of Theravada Buddhism. He was a Buddhist monk (bhikkhu) for 77 years, and by the time of his death his teachings had spread widely throughout Asia, and also to western countries.

  Luangta Maha Bua was famous for his talks (desanas), Those which have been translated into English or German and compiled into various books are available here, as are translations of the books he wrote himself.
